A New Tutoring Option!
3J Test Prep is breaking new ground with students in the Atlanta area. For the last several weeks, we have been working remotely with students in the Atlanta Metro area, rather than convening for in-person tutoring.Due to the difficulty of making everyone's schedules work together so that we could meet for in-person tutoring, we have developed the ability for students to receive high-quality tutoring directly in their own homes. We highly recommend Google's Hangout service, which is available to anyone with a Gmail account. Students and tutors have been able to register for Google Plus, which then makes available "Hangout". When students and tutors are hanging out, they are able to see and hear one another, as well as exchange onscreen information in the form of Microsoft Office Suite materials. Some students have reported being unable to view onscreen sharing, and so they have received digital copies of the materials via emails. In this way, everyone can literally be on the same page without even being in the same room.
